Water parks

There are two water parks within easy reach of Rural Paradise.  There is Aquaola just outside of Granada city and Aquatropic in Almuñécar on the Costa Tropical.

-  Aquaola is on a hill top in Cenes de la Vega just to the east of the city providing a range of facilities for all the family.

-  Aquatropic is a very popular water amusement park located on the seafront road running east from Almuñecar to Playa Velilla.

Aquaola Water Park, Granada

Aquaola has various swimming pools, water slides, a wave machine and a zero-gravity simulator "eurobungy".

There are several water slides of different speeds: some fast and others slower.  Some are straight and some steep.  Others have lots of curves, bumps and tunnels.  In the Black Pipe slide you shoot down floating on a rubber ring for two people completely in the dark.

The rapids of the River Bravo flow into Lake Iguazú where you can try the Tornado slide.

There is a pool with a wave machine that has a variety of six different types of waves.

In the Baths of Venus there is a less active atmosphere more suited to younger children.  In the warm water there are machines making bubbles.  For the smaller people there is the Pirate Galleon in Balu's Pool.

There is a system of elastic ropes called Eurobungy.  You can turn somersaults and other gymnastic stunts.  They say it's like experiencing zero-gravity.

You have the use of changing rooms, facilities for storing your belongings, showers and toilets.   There is a medical centre with fully qualified staff on hand to help you.

There is a shop selling swimming costumes, bikinis, suntan lotion, towels, children’s armbands and floats.  As well as a self-service cafeteria, there are picnic areas and kiosks selling chilled drinks and ice creams.

There is free parking for more than 350 cars.  There is also a secure covered car park which is not free.
